As the founding Broker of Your HOME Team, a wife, and the mom of five kids, I embody team spirit and understand the importance of having a good partner, in life and in real estate. Together my husband JD and I are building a successful real estate business while raising a family.
I have always loved to learn and share what I know with others. After getting my degree in Elementary Education from MSU-Billings, I opened a pre-school. My lifelong devotion to teaching still shines in my passion for educating buyers and sellers.
I am a Montana native with Miles City roots but have been living in Bozeman for over 27 years. My insight on the Eastern side of the state allows me to share that perspective with clients looking to relocate. After moving to Bozeman two decades ago, I worked various jobs, but one theme remained no matter the industry: My fondness for helping customers and having an entrepreneurial spirit. In 2006 I transitioned to real estate and got my license and by 2007 I had my Property Management License as well. My instinct was that they would be complimentary and allow me to offer my clients the best service possible in different areas of the industry. My current specialty is helping clients invest in rental properties. I have worked representing buyers and sellers, as well as investors and banks.
In 2015 I took another professional leap and obtained my Broker’s license, with the support of my husband and family.
I was named Bozeman's Choice Real Estate Agent by Bozeman Magazine in 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2024. Also, I was presented with Windermere Bozeman-Downtown's Client Satisfaction Award for 2021 along with Top Producer Awards 7 years running: 2018-2024!
My commitment to teamwork, combined with my passion and knowledge of various real estate services, helps me offer my clients a winning combo.
I love living here and taking advantage of all that Bozeman has to offer. In my spare time my husband and I fill our time golfing, camping, fishing, watching and attending football games, going to concerts and spending time with our five kids. I truly believe Montana is God’s Country and I am thankful to call it HOME.
As a third generation Montanan, I was lucky to grow up near the area that I now call home. Buying my first house ignited my passion for the real estate industry. Going through the process of buying a home was stressful. It was during this time I realized how important it is to have a realtor who can ease some of the burdens and navigate the home buying process.
I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business from the UM Western and spent the next eight years working at the Yellowstone Jet Center in Belgrade. I enjoyed connecting with people from all walks of life and helping them solve their problems, big and small.
Remembering how important it is to have someone on your team, and armed with a passion for helping others by being strategic and personable, I took a leap and decided to pursue a career in real estate in 2014. When I made my career transition, I hit the ground running.
Inspired by the first realtor I worked with, my specialty is, and always has been, going the extra mile for a client. I am a true advocate who never stops. I want all of my clients to know I am on their team and will do whatever it takes to bring them HOME.
My insider perspective and home team advantage is that I have built, lived in, and sold numerous properties throughout the area since 2014. I have witnessed the change and growth that has transformed the areas in and around Bozeman into being sought after locations for buyers and sellers alike. Buying or selling a home is a big decision and getting the opportunity to go to bat for clients is what motivates me to be successful. Living and working in the area allows me to stay ahead of any curve balls for my clients.
I am so grateful and feel lucky that I get to live in a place I love, raise a family, and have a career I am proud of. In my free time I love to be stay active and spend time outside with my husband and kids. Whether it’s paddle boarding or snow shoeing, camping, fishing, or riding 4-wheelers, you can find us exploring the Big Sky state.
I was born and raised in Helena, MT. I moved to Bozeman in 2005 after spending three years in Colorado. Prior to moving to Bozeman, I earned a B.A. in Mathematics/Civil Engineering from Carroll College and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. After completing my Master’s Degree in 2005 I wanted nothing more than to return home to Montana and was lucky enough to find a job and settle down in the beautiful Gallatin Valley. I have spent the last 12 years working for some great people as a Civil Engineer, Team Leader, and Project Manager. While I have enjoyed my experiences, and met some great people in the Engineering profession I have decided to transition those experiences into a career in real estate. Traits developed in my previous work experiences such as strong work ethic, attention to detail, effective communication, schedule management, and client service make this a comfortable transition and I look forward to putting these skills to use in serving my real estate clients.
I am also lucky enough to have my wife, Dina Emmert, as my Supervising Broker. She has been successfully selling real estate in Gallatin Valley since 2006. We work closely as a team to ensure a positive buying and selling experience for our clients.
Outside of work, we enjoy spending our free time golfing, camping, fishing, skiing, watching and attending football games, going to concerts and spending time with our five children.
